Hi!  I'm Danny Dispatcher and I'm  here to teach
you all about 9-1-1!

The most important thing you can tell the dispatcher is your name, your address, and phone number.  Do you know them?  I bet you do - but if you don't, go ask your mom or dad for some help in learning them and write it down next to the phone.

When you call 9-1-1, a dispatcher will talk to you and ask you some questions.  You must be able to tell the dispatcher your name, your address, and phone number.  Then you may have a Police Officer, a Fireman, or a Paramedic come out to help you - sometimes all 3!

When the dispatcher asks you a yes or no question, make sure you say the words "yes" or "no".  Do not nod or shake your head - the dispatcher cannot see you to know how you are answering them.

To find out what they all do, click on the Police Officer's picture or you can just click on the individual picture!
