CAD System |

The current Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system was implemented in August of 2000. CAD is how all calls are created into the computer system and how officers are dispatched to incidents. The CAD screen and the Status Monitor work together to allow dispatchers to keep track of all law enforcement officers and fire/rescue equipment. By the end of 2003, our CAD system will be upgraded to offer enhancements to the dispatchers which will assist them in being more efficient in their job assignments.
Built into the CAD screen, we have several other programs running in order to effectively serve the public safety responders as well as the citizens of Sarpy County. National Crime Information Center/Nebraska Criminal Information System Telecommunications Device for the Deaf
