DID YOU KNOW???   Many of our dispatchers are also members of local volunteer fire departments, are taking college classes, are active in local community events, and adopt families to help during holidays!

There are four shifts for the Sarpy County Communications Center.  We have 2 day shifts (work 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and 2 night shifts (work 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.).  The dispatchers rotate their days off, so they only work, on the average, about 15 days a month.  The 12-hour shifts allow them to have every other weekend off to spend time with their families.  To see the "face behind the voice", click on one of the shifts below:
