The ATM (Advanced Tactical Mapping) program is a map of Sarpy County which actually “zooms” to a location to aid the dispatcher in assisting with directions. The system can also do crime-mapping to assist each agency in locating areas within their jurisdiction which has a high amount of crime or to assist in developing a pattern of criminal behavior which would help in solving crimes. The ATM also has a map of Douglas County/Omaha attached in order to assist dispatchers and law enforcement officers - many times an officer/deputy will stop a vehicle in Douglas County/Omaha and by utilizing the map, the dispatcher knows exactly where they are in case they need assistance.
