Status Monitor |
|
|
|
The Status Monitor is used to keep track
of all officers / fire personnel who are not performing regular patrol on the streets of
the city/county. At a glance, a dispatcher can tell where the officers are
when they perform officer-initiated incidents such as traffic stops,
motorist assists, come across suspicious activity, etc. The status
monitor also tracks the officers while handling incidents which were
called into the Communications Center by citizens. The monitor is
always being updated when a law enforcement officer and/or fire department
personnel arrive on scene, transport visitors/prisoners/patients, perform
field sobriety or any other activity they may have. By continuously
updating this screen, any dispatcher can take over a position and know
exactly what each officer is doing.
