Equalization receives the Referees recommendations
and hears any new or additional information on valuations. |
You may request a formal hearing before the County Board ONLY if you have NEW or ADDITIONAL INFORMATION that was not available to the referee regarding your property. You must provide 6 copies of the new information to the Clerk prior to the hearing. Request appointment by phoning the County Clerk's office (402) 593-2114 by 2:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2010. |

County Board of Equalization determines FINAL value. |
Notices of the final valuation will be mailed within 7 days of the final decision. The final value will also be available at protest lookup. |

Appeal may be filed with the TERC (Tax Equalization and Review Commission 402-471-2842 Lincoln) |
Appeals may be taken to TERC within 30 days after adjournment of the County Board of Equalization. For protests acted upon during the Board's June 1 to July 25 session, adjournment is deemed to be July 25th. |
