ONLINE VEHICLE RENEWAL

You are now able to renew most vehicles online using a State of Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles sponsored web site.  Notable exceptions are change of name or address, no insurance on the state database, or non-resident military.

Make sure you select your county prior to entering the information necessary to complete the processing.

IT CAN TAKE UP TO FIVE DAYS FOR YOU TO RECEIVE YOUR REGISTRATION AND STICKER AFTER RENEWING ONLINE.

There is a portal fee charged by a third party private business for this service.  The fee is 3% for using a credit or debit card or $3 for an E-Check (taken from your checking account electronically).  Neither credit or debit card payments nor E-Checks can be taken at the courthouse.
