Sarpy County's Consolidated 911 Communications Center is staffed with highly-trained dispatchers who relay critical information from callers to law enforcement officers, fire and emergency medical personal so that they can respond with the appropriate resources as quickly as possible. The dispatchers utilize Emergency Medical Dispatch protocols to provide pre-arrival instructions to include dispatch life support, which gives phone instruction to aid callers until help arrives. The communications center staff facilitates both emergency 911 and non-emergency response.

Only call 911 for the following reasons:

  • To STOP a crime
  • To REPORT a fire
  • To SAVE a life

WHAT IS A NON-EMERGENCY?

The non-emergency number is (402) 593-4111.

Call this number to report the following:

  • Any crime to a person not life threatening
  • Burglary to a home not in progress
  • Auto theft not in progress
  • Parking complaints
  • Noise complaints
