Backup Call Taker

This position assists the primary call-taker to answer emergency and non-emergency phone lines as the workload demands.

This dispatcher also monitors radio traffic for the Sheriff’s Office:

Investigators
Warrants Division
Civil Process Division
CARE Unit-Juvenile Justice Center

When one of the other dispatchers takes a break, depending on staffing, this dispatcher may be responsible for covering their position.
