Law Enforcement East

The LE East (Law Enforcement East) channel is responsible for dispatching all of the Bellevue Police Department. This includes:

*Uniformed Road Patrol

*C.O.P.P.S. (Community Oriented Policing) Unit

*Criminal Investigations Bureau

*School Resource Officers

*Administration

This dispatcher is constantly updating incidents for many different reasons. When an officer is dispatched to a call, the dispatcher will log into the call their arrival time, any activity they perform while on the call, if they change locations, and when they "go back in service" which makes them available to handle the next incident.

The dispatcher is the officer’s life-line. If an officer were to get into trouble such as a fight with someone, the dispatcher is the one who will send more units and the necessary resources to handle the situation for the best possible (and fastest) resolution for all persons involved.
