2005 Annual Report to the State Emergency Response Commission

 

  1. This report covers the period 1 January to 31 December 2005.
  2. Members or alternates in attendance:
  3. During this period, 46 facilities filed SARA Title III Tier II reports with SCEPC. Tier II reports are filed in the Emergency Management Office and are available for public inspection. During this period, eleven public and numerous responder information requests were handled. One non-reporting facility was identified during this period, notified of the reporting requirements, and reported for the first time.
  4. The Sarpy County Emergency Response Plan, also known as the Sarpy County Local Emergency Operations Plan (LEOP), is rewritten and has been approved by the Nebraska Emeregncy Management Agency..
  5. Elected Officers: Chairman – Louie Wilson, Vice-Chairman – Tim Schram, Secretary – Maria Reiter, Information Coordinator – Joe Mastandrea
  6. Copies of Meeting Notices were sent to the Bellevue Leader and the Papillion Times

    Offuttt Air Force Base fullscale National Disaster Medical System Exercise on July 23, 2005.

    Bellevue Volunteer Fire Department Mass Casualty Exercise on September 24, 2005.

    Sarpy County LEPC HAZMAT tabletop exercise on December 14, 2005.
