participate in the National Flood Insurance Program. Should flood fighting become
necessary, utilize the resources below. The Corps of Engineers can provide a short Flood
Fight Course to improve your chance of success. Contact Sarpy County

| Contact the county or city, as appropriate. The Sarpy County Highway Department can be reached at 339-4606 during business hours. Emergencies such as water over county roads or associated erosion of county structures should be reported to Sarpy County Communications at 593-2310. | Sanitary Improvement Districts or School Districts may contact Sarpy County Emergency Management at 593-5785 during business hours, or Sarpy County Communications at 593-2310 at other times, to arrange a loan of sandbags. Unused sandbags may be returned, but used sandbags must be replaced. | Sarpy County cannot provide sandbags for citizens who wish to protect private property. Please consult the vendor list provided by the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency for information on sandbag availability and cost. |
