Secondary Events

An occurrence of one hazard may trigger other events or hazards which could lead to a highly complex response. These "secondary events" directly resulting from a hazard occurrence were considered in the overall rating of the primary, or triggering hazard.

The following table lists the priority hazards identified for Sarpy County and illustrates the secondary effects which may be triggered by that primary hazard.
