About Us

The Sarpy County GIS Department is located in the administrative wing of the County Courthouse (see map). There are three employees in the GIS department. Eric Herbert – GIS Coordinator, Eric Kriener – GIS Analyst, Nikki Godfroy – GIS Specialist.

The GIS department has many tasks and responsibilities including: training all GIS users within the GIS Coalition, technically supporting all GIS users, updating and maintaining current GIS data layers, installation of all GIS software and hardware, creating custom GIS applications to help departments manage geographically referenced data sets, and creating and printing maps/geographical reports/data for public citizens and companies.
