The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Department provides geographically based information to citizens, other governmental units, and County staff, leading to better decision-making and facilitating land transfers in Sarpy County. The Sarpy County GIS was developed to increase the productivity of County staff; to respond to growth-related problems by better maintaining, graphically displaying, and integrating geographic and related data; and to provide efficient access to geographic information by the public.
