Online Credit Card Tax and E-Check Payments
ONLINE CREDIT CARD TAX PAYMENTS
The Sarpy County Treasurer's office is pleased to announce
that taxpayers now have the ability to pay their Real
Estate and /or Personal Property taxes (Not Motor Vehicle Tax) online with a credit cards.
Officialpayments.com is the vendor that will be assisting
county personnel in this venture. This is the same
vendor selected by the Internal Revenue Service. There is a convenience
fee associated with online credit card transactions.
Prior year taxes must be paid prior to paying current year taxes. You must
enter the exact amount of tax for your transaction. You may pay one half of your annual
tax or all of the annual tax. No other
amount will be credited. You will receive a receipt in the mail after the
Treasurer's office has received your validated credit card payment.
If you are unsure of your tax, use the
property search to find your parcel.
ONLINE E-CHECK TAX PAYMENTS
The Sarpy County Treasurer’s office is pleased to announce
that taxpayers now have the ability to pay their Real Estate and/or Personal
Property taxes (not Motor Vehicle Tax) online with an E-Check (electronic
check).
You will be providing information on your checking or
savings account to Official Payments at their secure web site.
This information will then allow them to
withdraw the authorized amount from your account and send it to the Sarpy
County Treasurer’s office.
Officialpayments.com is the vendor that will be assisting
county personnel in this venture. This
is the same vendor selected by the Internal Revenue Service and by over 2000
municipalities throughout the country. There is a convenience fee of $3.00 ($15 for payments $10,000 and over) for using this E-Check service which is
paid to Official Payments.

be paid prior to paying current year taxes. You must enter the exact
amount of tax for your transaction.
You may pay one half of your annual tax or all of the annual tax.
No other amount will be credited. You will receive a receipt in the mail after
the Treasurer’s office has received your validated E-Check payment.
If you are unsure of your tax or your parcel number, use the property search to find your parcel.
An E-Check is processed through the Federal Reserve System
in the same manner as a regular check.If you write your E-Check on an account with insufficient funds your
E-Check would be returned as non-payable and you will incur and additional $30
NSF (non-sufficient funds) fee when you make this check good. Until that time your taxes will remain
unpaid.

If you choose to pay with credit card, the fee is an additional approximately 3% of your payment.
