Welcome to the Sarpy County Sheriff's Department web site. Our office is committed to the pursuit of excellence, achieved through teamwork, loyalty to our citizens and one another. The mission of the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office can best be stated as "Community Peace Through Law." This motto summarizes the goal of our department: to protect the right of all persons to be free from crime and to live in peace. All persons are guaranteed certain rights and privileges that this department is bound to protect. Through the application and adherence to federal, state and local laws, the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office strives to bring peace to all citizens of Sarpy County. We are responsible for the professional care and custody of those confined within our jail facilities. Our duties also include providing security and service to the courts and the efficient and thorough investigation of all crimes. |

(Sarpy Exclusive Law Enforcement Combined Test) for persons who are considering employment as a deputy sheriff.
