
Sarpy County Law Enforcement Center
The Sarpy County Sheriff's Department, headed by Sheriff Jeff Davis, is located in Papillion, Nebraska. The Law Enforcement Center contains the offices of the Sheriff, as well as the County Jail. The organization of the department is comprised of the Chief Deputy, who is next in the chain of command, followed by Division Captains, Lieutenants, Sergeants, Corporals, and Deputies. Civilian staff are also assigned to different areas of the department's units.
The Road Patrol Division responds to calls for service, calls for assistance, and acts as crime prevention units in the districts to which they are assigned.
The Jail Division has civilian and sworn personnel assigned to it, who have many responsibilities for the operation of the county correctional facility.
The Investigations Division staff are assigned to follow up on crimes against persons, crimes against property, drug investigations, maintain evidence and property, perform polygraphs and execute warrant arrests.
Support Services covers Court Security, Juvenile Services and the Transportation Unit.
The Administrative Division oversees the overall operation of the department, and the units within this department include the Training Division, Civil Process Unit, Crime Prevention and Technical Support Services.
