Starting Oct. 5, voters can cast their ballots in person at the Sarpy County Election Commission office.
The election office, at 501 Olson Drive, Suite 4, in Papillion, is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Election Commission will offer extended hours in the two weeks prior to the election, adding hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays:
- Tuesdays/Thursdays: Oct. 20, 22, 27 and 29 – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturdays: Oct. 24 and 31 – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Voters can cast their ballot in the office or take the ballot home with them to return at a later time. Ballots can be returned to the office in person, via mail or by using one of the six secure drop boxes located across the county. Ballots must be returned to the office or one of the drop boxes by 8 p.m. Nov. 3.
Nov. 2 is the last day to vote early at the Sarpy County Election Commission.
If you have already requested a mail ballot, you cannot vote in the Election Office or at a polling place.
To date, the Sarpy County Election Commission has processed almost 49,000 early voting ballot requests. Ballots will be mailed daily as additional requests are received.
All polling locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. All Sarpy County polling sites are in the same location as during the primary. Voters can look up the location of their polling site on Sarpy.com/Election.
